Good Point On ObamaCare

From Cleanup NV:
There is a vast difference between applications and enrollment. Let’s look at the Nevada numbers, for example, supplied by Nevada Health Link’s twitter feed earlier this week.
According to Nevada Health Link’s Twitter feed, as of October 15, 32,280 Nevadans had created accounts on the exchange, with 11,916 of them beginning applications. 3,795 had completed the eligibility process and 1,419 had selected a plan and placed it in their cart, a task at least one step short of enrolling in a plan.
No word on where in the process those 476k applications “filed” were. There are more than 3 times as many applications started in Nevada than the number completed. In addition, there are more than 2.5 times as many completed as the number who have “selected” a plan. And the number who have “selected” a plan is not equal to the number who have actually enrolled. The enrollment number is, by definition, no more, but could be significantly less than, the “selected” number. It could even be 0.

And as Mike points out, the same number problem occurs with national ObamaCare numbers.
Obama and his ilk say about 476,000 applications were filed but how many of those 476,000 actually bought an insurance plan?  How many were duplicate applications?  How many of those applications were serious?
When the Obama administration comes out with a figure on how many people actually bought insurance through ObamaCare, then we will know how successful ObamaCare is or isn't.
