White House Has Reuters Reporter Fired?
Well, if you piss off the president, you may get fired from your job. "Earlier this week, Reuters published a story under the headline Backdoor taxes to hit middle class. The link is now dead...Obama administration aides appealed to the Reuters White House reporting team to kill a story by another reporter of the news service that suggested the president's new budget blueprint included "backdoor" tax hikes."

One could also say that President Bush got Dan Rather fired. Both reporters tried to advance a partisan agenda by pushing factually inaccurate stories. I read the "censored" story. It's full of inaccuracies, particularly with regards to the alternative minimum tax. Yes, the AMT is a problem that Congress has declined to solve. Yes, it will hit more middle class taxpayers this year. But the reporter's numbers appear to be completely made up.
