Well, since then, the Democrats have stopped talking about it for the most part. They have not even taken a vote on health care. If health care was so important, why have they not said full speed ahead, the consequences be damned?
Oh, wait, this was about politics and power and in reality, the Democrats really weren't that serious about health care in the first place. Especially since their livelihood was at stake.
