Barack Obama may be an intelligent man, but when it comes to the real world and real world issues, Obama is a few fries short of a Happy Meal.
As you are aware, President Obama has been meddling in Wisconsin regarding the union protests, even though it's a state issue and has nothing to do with the Federal government.
Well, Scott Walker, governor of Wisconsin took Obama to school on Sunday on Meet the Press. From the Green Bay Press Gazette: Wisconsin’s governor, Scott Walker, was not at the White House but rather in his home state as a nationally watched budget showdown rolled on. He called for Democratic lawmakers to return to the state by Tuesday and vote on his bill that would end most collective bargaining rights for public employees as part of a plan to plug a $3.6 billion shortfall. Walker issued an equally pointed response to Obama, saying:"I'm sure the president knows that most federal employees do not have collective bargaining for wages and benefits while our plan allows it for base pay. And I'm sure the president knows that the average federal worker pays twice as much for health insurance as what we are asking for in Wisconsin. At least I would hope he knows these facts."Walker added: "I’m sure that President Obama simply misunderstands the issues in Wisconsin, and isn’t acting like the union bosses in saying one thing and doing another." http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com/article/20110228/GPG0101/110228115/1978&located=WISINFO
I could hear the dope slap Walker gave Obama from Vegas (Ididn't watch the show)
You Know What To Do

You got to be kidding me," I don't believe any of this nonsense." Yeah this is a state issue where do you think the states get their money from? What needs to happen is the federal government needs to set a solid budget for all states to adopt. Barack Obama needs to address the nation to set the record straight.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Chris, but I disagree 100%. What you just described is a totaltarian state/country.
ReplyDeleteYou seriously want the Federal government to run everything and basically get rid of states? I don't think so.
Chris, the state of Wisconsin budget is funded by property taxes, income taxes, state sales tax and gasoline taxes. The fed has no say in any of it!
