Memo To Cox Cable

You know, Cox Cable in Las Vegas, when the National Weather service issues a severe weather warning, it doesn't do the viewer any good when the message says "The National Weather Service has issu"

And then drops the message. This is on all of their severe weather statements.

  1. Cox's weather messages SUCK. They're overly loud, they interrupt the audio, even on DVR, and they're on EVERY station. It's ridiculous. How many weather events do we have that actually produce real danger? We don't have hurricanes, tornadoes, or earthquakes. We get extreme heat, wind, occasional monsoons and the rare snow storm. All of which we can see by LOOKING OUTSIDE!
