Heard on the radio this weekend: "Garth Brook in Concert At the Wynn Hotel and casino. Tickets available."
Garth Brooks, when the ticket prices were lower, was sold out every time he performed when tickets were $125.
But in November, with pressure from Steve Wynn, tickets are now $253: http://lasvegasbadger.blogspot.com/2010/11/now-thats-inflation-garth-brooks-breaks.html
Guess that didn't work out so well when Brooks had to advertise to get people to attend his concerts. I guess Garth is not that popular when tickets are that high priced.
At $253 a ticket, or over $500 for a night for a couple, that is way too much to spend in Las Vegas. I would love to take my wife to the concert on Tuesday (if he has a concert on Tuesday) but at over $500 a pop, it ain't happening.
Some times greed is not a good thing.
