Obama Set To Kill More Jobs

Today, the Atlantis space shuttle blasted off today and when it comes back from the space shuttle, about 2000 more NASA workers will be laid off, for a total of about 10,000 workers.
Never mind that NASA is a government agency that actually benefits society through exploration of space and it's inventions that NASA has created over the years.
10,000 jobs down the drain because Obama say so. For 10,000 former employees of NASA there truly is one person responsible for their firings and that is Obama- he could have had the program continue, but he choose not to.

Then yesterday, Obama's EPA, decided that states in the Midwest will have to use cleaner coal to supposedly lessen air pollution.
From Charlie Sykes: "electricity rates will necessarily skyrocket," then-candidate Barack Obama casually warned us."...
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Thursday finalized stronger regulations for Wisconsin and 26 other states aimed at curbing air pollution from long-distance sources.
The rules will help those states fight ozone and particle pollution caused by power plants in Illinois, Indiana and other states.
But Wisconsin utilities - whose pollution can contribute to air-quality problems elsewhere - will also need to find ways to reduce their own emissions.
The likely result: Higher electric bills in the coming years....
... the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity called the rule "among the most expensive ever imposed by the agency on coal-fueled power plants, dramatically increasing electricity rates." In Wisconsin, a business group raised worries about higher costs.

And this will increase employment, correct? Umm, NO!!!
The coal industry is crying foul over new Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations which they say will be among the most be costly rules ever imposed by the agency on coal-fueled power plants.
The result, industry insiders say: substantially higher electricity rates and massive job loss.
“The EPA is ignoring the cumulative economic damage new regulations will cause,” said Steve Miller, president and CEO of the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity (ACCCE). “America’s coal-fueled electric industry has been doing its part for the environment and the economy, but our industry needs adequate time to install clean coal technologies to comply with new regulations. Unfortunately, EPA doesn’t seem to care.”

President Obama just doesn't care about people being out of work and his actions show it.
I just wonder when the Blue Dog Democrats, if there are any left, will flee the Democrat's sinking ship. Then how many regular Democrats will flee as well.
Look at Wisconsin and it is very possible that America will look like that in 2 years. All branches of the U.S. government will become Republican and it will be mostly conservative Republicans.

  1. I couldn't resist coming back to this post of yours. You're blaming Obama for shuttering the Shuttle program? Do you KNOW who gave the order to shut it down?

"The shuttle program, which was scheduled for mandatory retirement in 2011, saw the final launch with Atlantis launching on July 8, 2011, in accord with the directives President George W. Bush issued on January 14, 2004 in his Vision for Space Exploration.[9] The shuttle's planned successor was to be Project Constellation with its Ares I and Ares V launch vehicles and the Orion Spacecraft; however, in early 2010 the Obama administration asked Congress to instead endorse a scaled-back plan with heavy reliance on the private sector."

Now, the end portion there shows Obama's part of the puzzle. A plan that is SQUARELY from the Republican playbook. Privatize! Austerity! Cut spending! Are you really saying that Obama should be SPENDING more of OUR money on projects that are not crucial to our day-to-day lives?

Just looking for some consistancy. (And ducking in case you throw something at me). . .
