Kudo's To CCSD Schools

Today, many Clark County School District schools took time out of the day for their remembrance of 9-11-01.
At the school I teach at, we had a moment of silence, a video which was done by the students in the TV media class, patriotic signs throughout the school, patriotic songs during lunch and more.
I know other middle schools and high schools also had remembrances as well, most student driven.
Just remember that most of these kids were in second grade or below when the airplanes crashed and had little comprehension of what was going on.
I am sure that some school districts may not allow these because they want to be politically correct. So, kudos to CCSD for allowing the schools to remember 9-11-01 and having it mostly student driven.
