From The Las Vegas Sun: The sellout crowd at the MGM Grand Garden definitely got their money’s worth in the fourth round, with Mayweather ending the fight with a knockout in the final seconds.
The round went back and forth, and at one point, Ortiz had Mayweather pinned in the corner. But referee Joe Cortez stopped Ortiz while he was on the attack for a head butt. Ortiz went and pretended to kiss Mayweather on the cheek to apologize.
Seconds later, Mayweather responded with the knockout to end the fight, connecting on a clear right to send Ortiz to the canvas and capture the WBC welterweight belt.
Before the winning knockout, the fighters went to the middle of the ring and hit gloves to signal fighting again. Instantly, Mayweather connected with a left, then the fight-ending right. You could argue Ortiz wasn’t ready.

Actually, this is how Thug Maryweather behaves in life. He goes after people when they are not expecting it. He has beaten up his girlfriend and a couple of security guards and went after them when they didn't expect it.
Maryweather is just a 2 bit chicken thug who will not fight people who maybe better than him. Take for instance, Manny Pacquiao. Maryweather is just a big scardey cat when it comes to Pacquiao and makes up excuses why he won't fight him.
So, Maryweather wins a fight just the way he behaves in real life- dishonorably and taking cheap shots.
