What If Bush, Quayle, Palin Or Bachman Said This?

George W. Bush, Dan Quayle, Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachman get raked over the coals by liberals when they give out wrong facts but where are the liberals when Obama screws up?
From Obama's latest emergency speech: We all remember Abraham Lincoln as the leader who saved our Union. Founder of the Republican Party. But in the middle of a civil war, he was also a leader who looked to the future — a Republican President who mobilized government to build the Transcontinental Railroad — (applause) — launch the National Academy of Sciences, set up the first land grant colleges. (Applause.) And leaders of both parties have followed the example he set.

Of course, Abraham Lincoln was not a founder of the Republican Party nor was he their first presidential nominee. He didn't even live close to Ripon, WI. where the GOP was founded. He joined the GOP 2 years after the Party had started.
Of course the liberal media hid this from their viewers and declined to point out his mistake.
In reality, it is no big deal- his speech writers failed him. But was spelling "potato" a big deal? Bushisms a big deal? Bachman's confusing John Wayne Gacy and John Wayne a big deal? Or Palin's mistakes big deals? They were to some in the media and blogosphere?
Hypocrisy, thy name is liberal.
