From the Star-Ledger: Gov. Chris Christie only has Hillary Rodham Clinton to fear in the 2016 race for the White House, according to a national poll released today.
The New Jersey governor would attract more votes than two fellow Republicans — U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin and U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida — and he would defeat Vice President Joe Biden and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo on the Democratic side, the Quinnipiac University survey showed.
But in a head-to-head matchup with former Secretary of State Clinton, Christie would lose by 8 percentage points.
"Although some Republicans don't think New Jersey Gov. Christopher Christie is conservative enough for their taste, he runs best of the three Republicans tested and would defeat two of the top Democrats," said Peter Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac Polling Institute. "He obviously is doing better than the Democrats' rising star, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo." http://www.nj.com/politics/index.ssf/2013/03/hillary_clinton_would_beat_chr.html
Yeah, Christie is not a conservative but he also can out talk any politician out there.
Clinton has the name recognition and that's it and once people know who Christie is, the race would tighten.
Further, as a failed Secretary of state, Clinton would not have a lot going for her, but then again, the people re-elected a failed president to office, so they would stupid enough to elected a person who has little accomplishments in her life, other than marrying Bill Clinton.

Dan, remember how conservatives were bowled over by Romney's loss, and even the man himself was shocked, because he thought he was going to win? That was due to the self-sustaning conservative alternate reality bubble. And I think that's where you pulled your opinion of Hillary Clinton from!
ReplyDeleteShe isn't considered a "failed" Secretary of State by anyone other than hardcore conservatives. She was also a popular and successful Senator. And she has an army of supporters. Don't dismiss her so easily.
