Matt Ward Unhinged Part 2

A person who I have never known sent me this rant that was sent to him on the same day that Ward sent his rant to me on Saturday.  As you will see, Ward is completely unhinged:

I suggest you refrain from making any sort of comments about me or my employer on your little Twitter feed. It's nice to see you still care....and believe me, I have not forgotten you or what you attempted to do to me. We will work that out at some point, I assure you. For the time being, forget you know me...and really, the blog you're linking to...like you have a fucking clue. Should I start talking about your newspaper, maybe call up the Jacksonville police and let them know about your sexual predilections, fucking dogs in the ass and what not? Maybe your editor would like to hear about it...of course, your career is so stellar....revenge seems like a giant waste of my time. So fuck you...until we meet again...and we will.

"Aww...did I make you feel threatened? So sad. Here it is five years later and I thought you forgot all about me. Why haven't you ******? I have made ZERO effort to contact you or one of your numerous employers since you left Las Vegas. Why after all these years are you posting links to a blog about me and my newspaper? Not good stuff...but negative stuff? Where are the links about all the awards I've won? Or all the awards the paper has won under my leadership? Where are those links, *****? I respond to your desperate plea for my attention and you send a hate filled email to my publisher??? Why would she care, do you think? Why do you care, *****? 

Are you wondering where things went wrong? Maybe you sit in your lonely hovel at night trying to figure out why the son of the late great Star-Telegram editor is such a miserable loser? Has your mental illness reared its ugly head again, reminding you of the hurt you caused poor ****** in Vegas, and who knows who else?  

I'm not angry ******. I was at first. Because I don't want people who don't know me to think poorly of me just because you decided to post some crap from last year, from some blog from some right wing maniac. But now I just feel bad for you. I'm sure the weight of all your poor decisions deepens the lines in your face every day. You're a weak individual. How weak these days I'm not sure. But by your decision to dredge all this pain back up again, I can only imagine what you must be going through.

But I am not a bad person. I can be merciful. I forgive you ********.

I just hope someday you can forgive yourself.

I have it on good authority that Ward has used and possibly uses cocaine.  Clearly, he may have doing it over the weekend.

Whatever the reason, it is clear Ward is not a competent person to run a newspaper and he really needs some serious medical care.

I have sent an e-mail to his supervisors at Stephens Media and await their response.
