What if you’re sleeping when the new Pope is chosen? Set your “Pope Alarm.”
A Catholic organization has set up a website, www.popealarm.com, that will send you a text or email seconds after the Vatican confirms “Habemus Papam” — we have a Pope.
“When the smoke goes up, you’ll know what’s going down,” promises the website of the Fellowship of Catholic University Students.
The text service had more than 60,000 respondents by early Tuesday, hours before the cardinals locked themselves into the Sistine Chapel to begin their deliberations
