Times Square is crawling with
entrepreneurs who dress up as pop-culture characters and try to make a few bucks
posing for photos with visitors to the big city. But some of these characters
are unlike anything you've seen on "Sesame Street" or at Disney World.
They smoke, they use foul

Well, it can be explained with this video:
I despise these costumed menaces! They're not only bullies who push for "tips" if you get a photo taken with them, they clog up walkways like on The Strip and elsewhere. Some aren't even there for mere tips, as they are either drug dealers (dealing in plain sight) or perverts putting their grubby costumed hands on unsuspecting tourists. Some females in showgirl-like costumes are suspected of being prostitutes. Whenever media rtied to interview them, they would run and hide from the cameras.
ReplyDeleteThey have turned areas like the Strip into a cheap side show.
