From The Union Times San Diego:
More than 53,000 people enrolled in Covered California health policies in the last three days, a number that pushes total enrollment for the state’s health exchange past 200,000 as an important deadline arrives on Monday.
Peter Lee, Covered California’s executive director, announced the numbers Thursday, using the update as an opportunity to remind the public that Dec. 23 is the last day that Californians can purchase a plan if they want to have their coverage start Jan. 1....
It is unclear exactly how many Californians have completed the enrollment process. Last week, the exchange said that about 109,000 selected plans in October and November. About 49,000 enrolled in the first week of December, and about 31,000 enrolled on Dec. 9-10. No numbers have yet been released for Dec. 11-15.
Dana Howard, a spokesman for the exchange, said Thursday that preliminary data suggests that enrollment has already surpassed 300,000. http://www.utsandiego.com/news/2013/dec/19/covered-california-enrollments-200k/
300,000 people sound like a huge number but considering that California's population is about 38,700,000 people and you see how pathetic ObamaCare is in California.
And how many people have paid their insurance premiums? A lot less than 300,000.
Just another example of the disaster named ObamaCare.
