Word To The Wise: Don't Order The Flaming Tomahawk Steak

From the Detroit Free Press:Top-rated sports radio host Mike Valenti suffered second-degree burns at a Birmingham restaurant on Friday night, according to his attorney.
Attorney Gerald Thurswell said Valenti, who hosts the “Valenti & Foster” afternoon show on WXYT-FM (97.1, The Ticket) with partner Terry Foster, was rushed to William Beaumont Hospital on Friday after his face caught fire during dinner at Birmingham’s Bistro Joe’s.
Thurswell said Valenti, who hosts the radio show weekdays and contributes to WJBK-TV (Channel 2)’s sports coverage, had ordered the restaurant’s Flaming Tomahawk steak, which includes lighting afire Bacardi 151 at tableside.
“His face is all burnt and he’s in a lot of pain but he’s gonna keep doing the radio show,” Thurswell said. “He’s not making any public appearances or doing anything with TV after his lips, nose and left cheek caught fire Friday night.”   http://www.freep.com/article/20131217/SPORTS18/312170153/mike-valenti-bistro-joe-s-burned
