Not sure if Honolulu's finest brought their own stuff and I am frankly surprised the Park police actually caught the 2 guys, but still these are not brightest cops in the bunch. They were in town and playing in a softball tournament for police and firefighters. Smoking pot around a bunch of cops is not exactly a good career move. And parking illegally kind of puts you in the spotlight.

They were probably expecting some professional courtesy from their fellow law-enforcement officers. There are some places in this country where cops can pretty much do whatever they please, short of murder or outright theft. I don't know if Honolulu is one of those places, but the idiots may have thought Las Vegas is.
