Kudos to the Metro Homicide unit for solving 3 difficult homicides.
First, Metro solved the case where a drug dealer killed a 15 year old girl over a drug debt.
From the Sun: A Las Vegas man who had been feuding with 15-year-old Alexus Postorino's father was arrested for allegedly killing her and critically injuring a man while invading a southwest valley home Monday morning.
Metro Police arrested Norman Belcher, 35, and charged him with murder with a deadly weapon, attempted murder with a deadly weapon, robbery with a deadly weapon and burglary with a deadly weapon, according to an arrest report released Tuesday.

Then Metro solved the murder of the Nellis Airman. (see below)
Now, comes word that Metro solved the crime where 2 thugettes snatched a purse from a 95 year old woman, who suffered a boken hip. She died a copule of weeks later.
From the Sun: Metro Police arrested two women in connection with the July attempted robbery and death of a 95-year-old woman in a grocery store parking lot.
Teresa Meamber, 30, and Kierstie Manning, 19, face charges of murder of a victim over 60, attempted robbery, consipiracy to commit robbery and willful/wanton disregard of human life. Both women are being held at Clark County Detention Center without bail.
Shortly before 10 a.m. July 26, Metro received a 911 call reporting an attempted robbery in the Smith's parking lot in the 4800 block of West Desert Inn Road. Police said 95-year-old Betha Meier was walking through the parking lot when one of the women tried to steal her purse.
Police said Meier was dragged to the ground and as witnesses tried to intervene, the woman fled in a car northbound on Decatur.
Meier was taken to the hospital for treatment and died Aug. 16 as a result of her injuries, police said.

Hopefully, Metro can solve some more crimes, but this has been a good week for Metro, bad week for the criminals and of course, bad week for the victims.
