Stimulus Dollars At (Non) Work

Two times I have had to travel down Lamb Blvd. in Las Vegas between Charleston and Boulder Highway, a distance of about 4 miles.
Because of construction, lanes have been reduced from 3 lanes two and then one lane. Both times. I have not seen a worker working on the project. No one for about 4 miles working and I have travelled the area during the early afternoon.
Traffic in the area has been backed up for hundred of yards or more.
The people paying the bills are taxpayers and it is advertised as a Federal Stimulus project.
So, people are stuck in traffic jams with no one working on a road project, all thanks to Harry Reid and the Democrats. Thanks Harry.

  1. Harry? You're blaming Harry? Kind of a stretch. That's just the way construction works in this town. Sometimes there will be barrels winnowing a road down to one lane, and then mysteriously fanning out again, with no road work going on whatsoever. Sometimes I think the Traffic Masters rental people have a mandated amount of barrels they have to set out?

  2. Well, the Democrats are still blaming Bush for everything, so I can certainly blame Harry for this.
