Respect the office I said as I put up this outside sign at our school.
Some more information about the President's visit to our school.
The rally is going to be on the soccer field at our school, even though the football field and gym were available.
The reason why the soccer field? So they don't show any empty seats. We don't have any stands for the soccer field.
I know that we will not be allowed to bring chairs, so, do they expect us to stand the entire time?
While the doors are scheduled to open around 4:00, it was suggested that people arrive around 1:00 if they want to get close to the stage and maybe get camera time.
But you know, most campaigns have the beautiful people or minorities in the pictures. People like myself, older, fat, gray haired, hit with an ugly stick and a face made for radio would not be allowed close to Obama or Romney.
They are expecting a crowd of about 3000 people while there over 2 million people in the Las Vegas Valley. Maybe people are tired of political rallies?
There will hundreds of cops helping out, with the CCSD police having about 65 cops out there, most on overtime and the district, which has a huge budget deficit, will be forced to eat the costs. I wonder how many teachers will be laid off just because of this one visit?
Parking will be at a premium- most people will have to park on the streets in the surrounding neighborhoods.
I am taking the family to the rally and will report the accurate facts of the rally- not the ones given by the media. That is, if I am allowed to attend, since I am no friend of Obama and the coat tailing Democrats.
But unlike some liberals, i am not going to disrupt or heckle the participants, but treat the opposition with respect.
