Want To Get Rid Of Conservative Talk Radio?

Get Rid Of Limbaugh: Vote GOP
Then vote for Romney/Ryan.
The GOP will keep the House with a 99% chance of taking over from the Senate and if Romney wins the White House, what are the conservative talkers going to do?
Rush Limbaugh has said numerous times that he loves it when the Democrats are in charge because there is so much to talk about and his ratings are much higher.  He's been a talk show host since 1984, so after after 28 years, he may think it is time for him to retire at the age of 62 and enjoy life.
Why do you think talk radio is succeeding so much?  Because the country loves President Obama?  Hell no, because the vast majority of Americans of the country hate Obama, Reid and Pelosi.  And, most conservative talk show hosts are somewhat entertaining.
If the GOP is in charge, then the talkers will have less to talk about.  They won't want to damage the GOP in future elections.
If the GOP does win both branches of government and with a conservative Supreme Court, won't that be a natural draw for liberal talk show hosts to emerge?  Of course, the liberals have to be entertaining, which most liberal talk shows seem to forget.
In fact, that should be the Romney/Ryan selling point to liberals and moderates- vote for us and we will get get rid of conservative talk radio.
So, if you want to to get rid of conservative talk radio, vote Republican.

  1. Actually, you have that wrong. Even if Republicans are in charge of the WH & Congress, it doesn't mean the [conservative] radio talkers are out of a job.

Rush's show went national in 1988, when Bush 41 was elected. No shortage of fodder from a Republican who broke his promises of new new taxes.

Rush himself even admitted he doesn't require libs to be in control of the government for him to have a show, there's always something to be uncovered. Republicans aren't all conservative after all.

That includes Mitt "Romneycare" Romney & Paul "voted for the bailout" Ryan.

  2. I still think Limbaugh wants to retire if the GOP takes over, with Hannity taking over.
Neal Bortz is quitting on inauguration day and Gordon Liddy quit a couple of weeks ago.
So, the old timers will quit, I believe to be replaced by some local talkers going prime tim, like Mark Belling.
