Exciting Sports Weekend

If you are a sports fan, this is the weekend for you.
In golf, the Fed Ex Cup finishes with the Tour Championship in Atlanta, with the winner receiving a prize of $10,000,000.  Jim Furyk is leading with Tiger Woods poised to choke again, trails by 6 points, after leading the first day.
In baseball, the pennant races are tight.  In the AL East, the Yankees have just a 1 game lead on the Baltimore Orioles, in the AL Central, the Chicago White Sox has a 1 1/2 lead on the Detroit Tigers, in the AL Wild Card, the Orioles and Oakland A's are tied with the L.A. Angels 4 games back and in the NL Wild Card, the Atlanta Braves and St. Louis Cardinals are tied with the Milwaukee Brewers 1 1/2 games back, closely followed by the LA Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies.
In NASCAR, the 2nd race of the Chase is in New Hampshire with Jeff Gordon winning the pole.
College football has several potentially good games, with the top game being Notre Dame and Michigan.
And of course, the 3rd week of pro football has started
About the only fans who have nothing to cheer about are basketball and hockey fans.
So, enjoy the weekend in your man or woman cave, with a few brews on the side.
