From the San Francisco Chronicle: A Kentucky woman received jail time after posting a Facebook comment mocking a DUI charge, Patrick Jones reports.
Paula Asher was allegedly drinking and driving when she side-swiped
another vehicle and was arrested. She later posted the following comment
on Facebook: “My dumb (expletive) got a DUI and hit a car LOL.”
A judge ordered her to take down her Facebook page, and when Asher
did not comply, she was held in contempt of court and ordered to spend
two days in jail. http://blog.sfgate.com/hottopics/2012/09/19/woman%E2%80%99s-lol-on-facebook-lands-her-in-jail/
What she said was stupid, but criminal and worth 2 days in jail? Hardly. The judge had no legal right to have the woman take down her Facebook page or even the comment and certainly had no legal standing to throw her butt in jail.
More and more, our rights are being destroyed.

Haven't you heard the old saying, "Never tell a judge, 'You can't do that!'" ? They do whatever they want and they know it.
