Republican Joe Coors fired his toughest
salvo yet at Democrat Ed Perlmutter, saying, "I don't think he could
manage a lemonade stand without a federal grant or some subsidies."
The
audience at the Arvada Center erupted in cheers at Coors' remark
Thursday morning during the first debate between the two 7th
Congressional District candidates.
"Forgive me for that dig," Coors said to Perlmutter, "but your claim about outsourcing jobs is clearly false."
