From the New York Daily News:
It was no happy meal for one Georgia mom who says her daughter's
McDonald’s breakfast burrito came with an unwanted accessory: a nose
ring.
Frances Rosario, of Gwinnett County, said she bought the morning meal
Wednesday for her 4-year-old daughter. The girl was only a few bites
away from swallowing the bling, which was tucked inside the burrito,
according to CBS affiliate WGCL-TV.
“I turned it, and I see this piece of jewelry sticking out,” said
Rosario, who contacted the station after trying to reach out to the
Lawrenceville McDonald’s. “I’m like, ‘What the heck is this?’”
I'm pretty sure the breakfast burritos come to the restaurant pre-made from a supplier or another source, so i wouldn't blame the restaurant.
To me, it also seems unlikely it came from a supplier, leaving one possible option:
She's making up the story. For instance, how did she it was a nose ring? And if you look at the ring, it looks awfully clean, considering all the cooking that was involved.
If this story is true, give the family some gift certificates. And if she is lying, sue the hell out of her for lying.
