From the New York Daily News: Santa Claus’ sleigh may want to avoid Ted Nugent’s neck of the woods next Christmas.
The rocker turned hunting advocate received some holiday jeers from animals rights activists after extolling the virtues of eating reindeer.
“We all luv young reindeer haunch with garlic & butter its such a Christmas treat,” Nugent tweeted on Christmas Eve.
That post came an hour before the 64-year-old Motor City Madman bragged he was “celebrating God's miracle creation on Christmas Eve in a deerblind with my Excalibur crossbow.”
Animal activists didn’t know where to start in condemning the musician, famous for his 1970s hits “Cat Scratch Fever” and “Dog Eat Dog.”
