President Barack Obama stated, “I think America is poised to take off.”
The main obstacle, in Obama’s mind, however, is political dysfunction.“We’re seeing pretty strong consumer confidence, despite weaknesses

the question is, let’s make sure that we don’t have a self-inflicted
wound, because there are a lot of silly games played up on Capitol

Isn't Obama the one who promised our unemployment rate would be down aroun 5-6% if we passed all his stimulus plans and bail outs and all of his other give aways?
So would anyone, other than Obama Kool Aid drinkers, believe this buffoon?
Okay, I know I'm always your contrarian. But it needs to be pointed out that Barack Obama didn't get "his stimulus." He got a significantly watered-down, Congressionally meddled with, tinkered with, larded-with-tax-cuts stimulus. So sticking him with his prediction--when the plan was changed--isn't exactly fair. Just sayin'.
