A Tale Of 2 NASCAR Drivers

2 Sprint car drivers.
Both with good equipment.
Both with great sponsors.
Both with great owners with money and talent as owners.
Both with teammates.
Both with good pit crews, crew chiefs and behind the scenes personnel.
Both came from solid backgrounds.
Both were having long losing streaks.
Two totally different starts to the 2014 NASCAR Sprint season.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. had only 1 win in the last 4-5 years, started with a win at the Daytona 500 and a 2nd in Phoenix and is 1st in points after two races.

Danica Patrick finished 40th at Daytona and 36th at Phoenix.  She is 39th in points and 77 points behind Dale Jr., almost 2 full races behind Dale Jr. after just 2 races.
She is in last place in points of drivers who raced in both Daytona and Phoenix.
She is 10 points behind the 35 place car, the cut off of when you have to qualify by speed instead of being in the top 35 and getting an exemption.
Dale Jr., is going to make the Chase.
Danica may not even make it through the season- she may be sent to the Nationwide series to get more experience.
But she looks good in a bikini and Dale Jr. doesn't.
One has NASCAR talent.
The other is getting by on her looks and not very much talent.
Dale Jr. is the most popular driver in NASCAR.
Danica is in 2nd place.
One belongs in NASCAR-Dale Jr.
The other doesn't- Danica.
A tale of 2 drivers. My prediction by the end of the season:
Dale Jr. is in the top 4 racers in the Chase.
Danica will end up driving in the Nationwide series to get more experience and then maybe move up again before the season ends.
