It's NASCAR week in Las Vegas as the Nationwide and Sprint car races are at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Wednesday, at 6:00 is the best hauler parade in the country. The best location to see the rigs is not on the Strip but at the LVMS, especially where the trucks turn into the Speedway, at the tunnel. There you can get within a couple of feet of the trucks and get great pictures.
On Thursday, it is a free day at the track, including the Neon Garage. That's where you can get with a few feet of the cars, watch the mechanics, see the drivers and watch the practices.
Friday is the pole day and will be a lot more excited.
Saturday is Nationwide race and Sunday is the Sprint car race.
