From time to time, I will be offering up on various opinions in upcoming races around the country.
Keep in mind that I am a conservative in most areas and that's how I will usually lean...except this time.
John McCain is running for his last term, at the age of 80. He is a GOP member and was previously a presidential candidate, who lost to President Obama and I supported McCain.
McCain also hates conservatives and sides with the Democrats frequently on the big issues. He has not done anything to roll back ObamaCare. He also cannot be trusted with Hillary's Supreme Court justice nominations. With him retiring in 6 years if elected, we cannot trust McCain as he will do what whatever he wants to do.
Ann Kilpatrick is a moderate to liberal who represents the 1st Congressional District in Arizona. If elected, she will have to vote as a moderate in this fairly conservative state.
My endorsement: Ann Kilpatrick for U.S. Senate. As I stated above, Kilpatrick does not want to be a 1 term senator, so she will have vote with the moderates and conservatives.
McCain is going down in 6 years and he will bring down people who he doesn't like, especially conservatives. He is not a reliable conservative or even moderate.
Verdict: I endorse Ann Kilpatrick for U.S. Senate.
Next Up: Joe Heck v Catherine Cortez Masto.
