Getting Married In Vegas On Valentines Day?

Valentines Day is a busy day for weddings in Las Vegas. I am sure over a thousand people will be getting married on Monday, Feb. 14. of course, some people know they are getting married and of course, there will be some surprises out there as well. I am sure alcohol will be involved in some of these cases.
Anyways, here is some information about getting married in Las Vegas:
You can get a marriage license from 8AM until Midnight, 365 days a week at the downtown Clark County Courthouse. The marriage bureau is located on the southside of the building. If you plan on getting your license on Monday, plan on waiting. You can also pick up licenses in Henderson, Mesquite and Laughlin.
You really should fill out the forms online to make things quicker.

Here is a list of several wedding chapels in town: http://www.vegas.com/weddings/chapels.html
A better source is this: http://www.pcap.com/weddings.htm

Most large casinos have a wedding chapel, but you probably need to make reservations. The smaller wedding chapels on or around the Strip usually don't need reservations, but reservations help as some chapels may do as many as 60 or more weddings on Monday.
You can spend as little as $80 for a wedding and the sky is the upper limit for cost.
So, if you get married on Monday, congratulations and good luck.

  2. I didn't realize you could get married for so cheap in Vegas! My girlfriend would be so excited by doing something like that. We have never been ones for big events. It would be a fun story to be able to say we eloped in Vegas. It would also save a ton of money based on the average cost of weddings now days.
