A Tale Of 2 House Of Representatives Via The Las Vegas Sun

The Las Vegas Sun is a good bird cage liner and not much else. But it is interesting how they behave when it comes to liberals (good) or conservatives (bad).
In the past month, since Rep. Giffords was shot, Rep. Shelly Berkley and Joe Heck had or will have town hall meetings. Compare the coverage by the Sun:
Joe Heck: Republican Rep. Joe Heck is in the district this week, taking a break from Washington for a constituent work week.
He has several events planned, all open to the public.
Tonight, Heck will host an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. at his district office, 8485 W. Sunset Road in Las Vegas.
Wednesday, he will lead a town hall meeting during which constituents can ask questions or voice their concerns. It will run 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Green Valley High School, 460 Arroyo Grande, Henderson.
Friday, Heck will meet with members of the Laughlin Economic Development Council to update them on actions Congress is taking to boost the economy, then participate in a walking tour of Boulder City with Mayor Roger Tobler.

Shelly Berkley: Rep. Shelley Berkley will host a "Congress on the Corner" event Friday in Las Vegas to honor Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, who was critically shot last weekend at a similar event.
"I'm not going to let any wing nut keep me from doing my job," Berkley said.
Berkley invited constituents to meet with her from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday in her district office at 2340 Paseo del Prado, Suite D106.
"To do less than that, to hide behind the walls of this office, is a huge mistake," Berkley said.
Giffords was shot in the head and six others, including a federal judge and Congressional aide, were killed when a gunman opened fire Saturday during a "Congress on the Corner" Giffords hosted in Tucson. Police charged 22-year-old Jared Lee Loughner in the attack.
Berkley, who typically travels alone without security, said law enforcement officers will be present.
"It's not for my benefit, but so people feel comfortable coming," said Berkley, who plans to keep her office doors open to the public. "I don't want people to be afraid."

Both articles were written by a POS writer named Delen Goldberg. Why didn't Goldberg ask about any liberal wing nuts who might go a shooting? Maybe because Goldberg lacks journalistic ethics? Or maybe Goldberg really is a POS reporter.
Shelly Berkley: Brave Joe Heck: Ho Hum
Berkley: Jewish Goldberg: Jewish name. Brian (the Coward) Greenspun, editor of the Sun, Jewish. Heck: Not Jewish Maybe that has something to do with it?
Is it any wonder people laugh at liberals and those at the Las Vegas Sun? Fish wrap paper at best.
