Once again, President shows it's all about him. When you listened to the speech, it sounded like he was the one most responsible for Bin Laden's death. He told Panetta to get Bin Laden right after he became president(like Bush didn't make this a priority?) The intelligence came to him, he read the reports, he ordered the attack and he made sure no innocent people were hurt.
Then he praised the military and intelligence community.

It's all about him. Bull crap.
This operation had very little to do with Obama. He just saw some reports and gave the call to take Bin Laden out. Nothing more, nothing less.
President Bush put out a statement praising the military forces, the CIA and everyone else involved in the war, as it should be.

No, I don't think Bush had it as much of a priority really. The following is from six months after 9/11:
ReplyDelete"Six months after he said Osama bin Laden must be caught dead or alive, this president was asked, 'Where's Osama bin Laden?' " Kerry said. "He said, 'I don't know. I don't really think about him very much. I'm not that concerned.' We need a president who stays deadly focused on the real war on terror."
""We haven't heard much from him. And I wouldn't necessarily say he's at the center of any command structure. And, again, I don't know where he is," Bush said during the 2002 news conference. "I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him. I know he is on the run."

I'm surprised that Donald Trump didn't take credit.
