Obama's Watergate?

There has been a scandal brewing Washingto D.C. that the MSM has refused to cover. The case is so insidious, that a Border Patrol Agent was murdered by guns used in the scandal. This is no Iran-Contra-Oliver North scandal that was a mosquito bite for President Reagan, this is a case where President Obama and his administration contributed to the death of a police officer in the U.S.

Nary a word has come from within President Barack Obama’s West Wing in response to a recent barrage of strongly worded attacks by Congressman Darrell Issa – Chair of the powerful House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. Of late, Issa has given indications of a significant cover-up initiated by figures within the Obama administration, namely the Department of Justice – a cover-up that may in fact ultimately lead to President Obama himself. It is telling to note that no formal official response to Issa’s most recent accusations have been issued by the Obama White House. According to D.C. insiders, such silence is often an indicator an issue is being viewed as “the most serious kind of political threat – the kind that ultimately cripples administrations, and as is so often the case, it is not the alleged crime, but the cover-up.”
What is certain for now is the overt confidence coming from Congressman Darrell Issa. For weeks prior, Congressman Issa expressed growing frustration at the Obama administration’s refusal to comply with repeated requests to release information pertaining to the Gunrunner program. This frustration has now been replaced by a resolute determination to fully utilize the authority of Congress inherent in a Congressional hearing to bring the matter to full public disclosure via Issa’s subpoena authority as Chair of the House Government Oversight Committee. And with the issuance of those subpoenas, and the resulting scheduling of Congressional hearings on Obstruction of Justice charges against Obama’s DOJ, the battle lines have clearly been drawn. Congressman Darrell Issa is now in a full on confrontation with Attorney General Eric Holder and President Barack Obama.

Iran Contra has nothing on this case and as usual, liberals in the press are ignoring this. But, this gun operation, run by the Feds helped kill a police officer/Border Patrol agent in the United States, not to mention it may have killed other people in Mexico or in the United States.
This may be the undoing of Obama. Who would have thought that the peacenik Obama would get into trouble selling guns to criminals?
The officer killed is Brian Terry and this is his memorial from The Officer Down Memorial Page:
Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was shot and killed near Rio Rico, Arizona, while attempting to apprehend a group of armed subjects. The suspects had been preying on illegal immigrants with the intent to rob them.
Agent Terry and several other agents were attempting to arrest the group when shots were exchanged between the suspects and agents. Agent Terry was struck in the pelvis by a round fired by a suspect armed with an AK-47.
The wounded agent was flown to a hospital where he succumbed early the following morning.
Four members of the group were taken into custody and at least one suspect remains at large.
Agent Terry was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and had served with the United States Border Patrol for 3.5 years. He had previously served as a police officer with the Lincoln Park, Michigan, Police Department. He is survived by his parents, brother, two sisters, five nieces, and one nephew.
