While President Obama cannot be held accountable for everything in the economy, but he also needs to admit that his policies have failed. Big time.
There are things Obama and Reid could have done to decrease unemployment- for starters, stop putting all their eggs in the green energy bucket and they need to stop getting rid of jobs in the areas of coal and oil and related industries.
In Nevada, we could restart Yucca, maybe get a get an oil refinery plant, allow the two coal fired electric plants in Northern Nevada to get going, get an Interstate highway going between Phoenix and Las Vegas and make a concerted effort to steal business away from California and maybe we can turn things around in Nevada.
But politicians like Harry Reid and Shelly Berkley are against these ideas and they put all of their efforts into green energy which has been shown to be a fraud at worst or produce very few jobs at best. Berkley and especially Reid, are the big reasons why Nevada is in a horrible economic slump.
So, the Democrats were given a chance to turn things around and they have failed miserably and this is why Obama will be a 1 term president and Reid will lose the Senate.
