The NASCAR Sprint Series starts a run on TNT TV this week to broadcast NASCAR races, starting with the race in Pocono. It can only help but be better than last year.
Last year, the announcers mispronounced driver's names. They totally missed yellow flags involving crashes and really did a horrible job broadcasting the NASCAR races.
Some low lights of TNT coverage: http://lasvegasbadger.blogspot.com/2010/07/tnt-dishonors-medal-of-honor-of-honor.html where tNT dishonors Medal Award winners.
Poor coverage: http://lasvegasbadger.blogspot.com/2010/06/another-nascar-race-another-crappy.html
And one year ago, they just had a horrible, putrid day of reporting the NASCAR race in Pocono: http://lasvegasbadger.blogspot.com/2010/06/tnt-nascar-coverage-horrible-terrible.html
So, I really hope that TNT does a better job than last year, but I am not holding my breath.
