Before the NASCAR race tonight, Daytona and NASCAR honored either 6 or 7 Medal Of Honor winners. The race was broadcast on TNT.
So, they lined up the Medal of Honor winners in front of everyone in the grandstand and the camera was following each winner as their name was announced. First winner, they showed, second man, they showed , third man- just a little a bit. Fourth, firth and sixth man, they didn't even show or mention their name. The reason: TNT had to go to a commercial.
Well. you thought TNT was hard pressed for time, right. Nope, it was raining out and there was a 90 minute rain delay.
So, instead of giving these Medal of Honor winners their 15 seconds of fame that they rightly deserve, they go to commercial and then forget about them. How pathetic is that?
