At the British Open today, play was suspended of wind. Wind at a British Open? Perish the thought.
Ok, so the wind was blowing about 60mph, right? Umm, no. From ESPN.com: "Despite sunny skies mixed with puffy white clouds, officials decided the Old Course was unplayable because the wind was gusting to 41 mph, causing balls to wobble on some of the exposed greens, especially those along St. Andrews Bay.
Second-round play was suspended 1 hour, 5 minutes at midafternoon, shortly after Phil Mickelson finished his round in brutally tough conditions and Tiger Woods had teed off."
Come on, gusts to 41 mph? That's nothing, especially compared to other windy days at the British Open. I remember when there was a windy and rainy British Open that when they hit some pop up shots, the ball almost went backwards.
Maybe they need some counseling. May I suggest this psychologist:
Any guesses who plays the psychologist?
