Obama, Reid: I Hate Poor, Elderly, Disabled And I Lie

President Obama said today that he cannot gurantee that Social Security payments will go out on August 3rd, proving once again, he really doesn't care about the poor, elderly and the disabled.
From CBS News: President Obama on Tuesday said he cannot guarantee that retirees will receive their Social Security checks August 3 if Democrats and Republicans in Washington do not reach an agreement on reducing the deficit in the coming weeks.
"I cannot guarantee that those checks go out on August 3rd if we haven't resolved this issue. Because there may simply not be the money in the coffers to do it," Mr. Obama said in an interview with CBS Evening News anchor Scott Pelley, according to excerpts released by CBS News.

First, I thought Social Security was solvent and was good to go for the next several decades, so if this is true, then the money should be there, unless Obama and the Congress have raided the Social Security fund so much that Social Security is now broke.

Second, where is Harry Reid. One of the better things Reid has done is protect Social Security and Medicare but now he is going to go along with Obama with withholding Social Security checks? Come on Harry, be a man and not a wimp and call the President out on this threat.

I do have an interest in this issue. I have several immediate family members on Social Security and they depend on these checks. In addition, most of my students I work with are on Social Security.

President Obama is playing political games, an old Democratic trick of scaring the poor, elderly and disabled. He ought to be ashamed of himself and the GOP ought to be out there running commercials nationwide and call Obama out on his dirty tricks and his distaste for the poor, elderly and the disabled.

Worst president only. Most hateful president ever.
