The Democrats in Wisconsin had so much hope of recalling Gov. Scott Walker, but their best laid plans are falling flat on their face as Walker is stretching out his lead in the polls and is leading about 50-45%, depending on the poll.
From jsonline: Gov. Scott Walker has carved out a modest, single-digit lead in recent polls against Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett – not a huge shift but enough to suggest he has the upper hand with three weeks to go in a fierce recall fight in a divided state.
A Marquette Law School poll released Wednesday showed Walker leading Barrett 50% to 44% among likely voters, and that comes on the heels of a survey released a day earlier by Public Policy Polling in which the governor led the mayor 50% to 45%.
The Marquette poll of 600 likely voters, taken May 9-12, was an improvement for Walker over Marquette’s April 26-29 poll, in which he led Barrett 48% to 47%.

I actually think Walker will gather about 55-60% of the vote, come June 5 and will easily win the recall election and then watch out. He will then have a mandate to continue his bold moves in Wisconsin and it will be followed throughout the country.
And to show how desperate the Democrats are, the Wisconsin Democrats are blasting the national Democrat committee for not providing financial support. If the national Dem's thought they had a chance of winning, they would be pouring tons of money for the Democratic candidate, Tom Barrett, mayor of Milwaukee.
I predict, Walker will carry 70 out of 72 counties in Wisconsin. The Dem's will carry Dane County and maybe 1 small county in northern Wisconsin and that's it. Barrett will not even carry Milwaukee County.
So, as Don Meridith used to sing on Monday Night Football, "Turn out the lights, the party's over".

I am just an old white guy conservative that
ReplyDeletegrew up in Madison and have lived many other
cities. When ever progressives, liberals and
democrats take over finances go downhill fast.
I have old teacher friends in Madison that were
paid too much and had free health insurance and
their retirement paid-they retired at 55 and have been living at taxpayer expense for two decades so far and more to come. Public unions and their thugs have stolen trillions from the taxpayers. Also we should deport the 100,000 illegal aliens in Wisconsin who kill many people and steal and get free stuff.
