From the LA Times: It's been a rough week for Tony Stewart, and it wasn't getting much better Friday for the reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion.
Stewart also is co-owner of his Stewart-Haas Racing team, and earlier this week Office Depot said it was dropping its primary sponsorship of Stewart's No. 14 Chevrolet after this season.
"It
is a big void," Stewart told reporters at Richmond (Va.) International
Raceway, site of Saturday night's Cup race, according to a transcript
provided by Chevrolet.
"It's part of a bad economy,"
he said. "Been listening to all the politicians speak about how they
are going to make things different. I haven't seen anything get any
better yet. http://www.latimes.com/sports/sportsnow/la-sp-sn-nascar-tony-stewart-20120907,0,5520143.story?track=rss&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+latimes%2Fmostviewed+%28L.A.+Times+-+Most+Viewed+Stories%29
Stewart is right about 1 thing that politicians from both parties don't understand: They can talk up and say how they will fix things or things aren't that bad or we are turning the corner, but the vast majority have not "seen anything get any better".
I know I haven't seen any improvement and my guess most people haven't seen any improvement.
And yet the politicians just don't seem to get it.
