Nevada Democrat Arresrted For Threats To Public Official

From the LVRJ:  Assemblyman Steven Brooks was arrested Saturday night after police said he threatened a fellow state representative.
North Las Vegas police said Brooks, 40, was booked about 6 p.m. at the Las Vegas City Jail on a charge of intimidating a public officer by threat of physical violence. Jail records show Brooks was in custody as of 10 a.m. Sunday.
Brooks is a Democrat serving Nevada Assembly District 17 in Las Vegas. Police said they responded to a "home in the northwestern part of North Las Vegas" about 3:45 p.m. to investigate a report of threats to an unnamed elected official. Police did not say who Brooks reportedly threatened.  http://www.lvrj.com/news/nevada-assemblyman-brooks-arrested-charged-with-threat-against-lawmaker-187629061.html
The Nevada Democrats are falling apart even before the legislative session has started. They have leaders who lost in elections, others quit right after being elected and now they are being arrested.
Brooks, according to the Las Vegas city jail records, he is being held on $100,000 bail.  He is also a City of Las Vegas employee.
I wonder how long before it will come out that whoever he assaulted will say it was a misunderstanding and want to drop the whole thing. And that his followers will say he is such a sweet guy and that he wasn't capable of doing anything wrong.
