What the hell???
In reporting about the bizarre case of Steven Brooks, a legislator who supposedly threatened another legislator, this little nugget came out.
From the Las Vegas Sun: North Las Vegas Police ultimately caught up with Brooks on Toiyabe Street. He was driving a 2012 Chrysler 200 convertible that the state had rented for him to help him move from Las Vegas to Carson City for the legislative session. http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2013/jan/23/mounting-fears-over-armed-nevada-lawmakers-mental-/
Since when does the state pay for a luxury car and how will a luxury convertible in any way in moving a person to Carson City?
This is just a total waste of money.
