My daughter is in Honors Biology (clearly she didn't get her intelligence from my DNA) and this is one of the final exam essay questions:
"Describe the impacts of immigration and emigration on America's future population from now until the year 2100."
Huh? How is this a biology question?
I agree this shouldn't end up on a biology test but I've heard of similar questions posed in math textbooks among other subjects.
