Well, let's hope that Obama never has a son as it certainly looks like Treyvon Martin was nothing but a drug smoking thug.
From the Smoking Gun: A witness told Florida cops that he saw Trayvon Martin straddling George Zimmerman and pummeling the neighborhood watch captain “MMA style” shortly before the unarmed teen was felled by a gunshot to the chest.
Interviewed by cops about 90 minutes after the shooting, the witness--whose name was redacted from police documents--said that he was inside his home when he heard a “commotion coming from the walk way” behind his residence.
The man recalled seeing “a black male, wearing a dark colored ‘hoodie’ on top of a white or Hispanic male who was yelling for help.” The black male, he added, “was mounted on the white or Hispanic male and throwing punches ‘MMA (mixed martial arts) style.'”
The witness--who was in his living room and about 30 feet away from the confrontation-- said he called out to the two men that he was dialing 911. “He then heard a ‘pop,’” police reported, and saw the black male “laid out on the grass.”....
The police reports also include observations from two Sanford cops regarding Zimmerman’s physical appearance following the shooting. Officer Timothy Smith reported that Zimmerman was “bleeding from the nose and back of his head,” while Officer Jonathan Mead noted that he “appeared to have a broken and bloody nose and swelling of his face.”
Investigators also reported receiving medical reports from Altamonte Medical Practice “identifying the injuries sustained by Zimmerman on the evening of 2/26/2012.” The records indicated that he suffered an “open wound of scalp” and “Nasal bones, closed fracture.” http://www.thesmokinggun.com/buster/trayvon-martin/martin-zimmerman-witness-758903
Why this case is even going to trial is beyond me. Many other people believe the same thing.

If the scenario went down exactly as it was related: an ununiformed, unknown to the victim, armed, self-appointed neighborhood watch guy was following a kid, first in a vehicle, then on foot. Once they met up, the kid wailed on the persuer. If Zimmerman had been a child molester, and Martin had WON the battle, this would be a tale of victory. I don't think this case is as simple as you make it out to be. It's always sounded to me like a scared kid who tried to fight back. And Zimmerman shot the kid because he was losing the fight.

Everything Zimmerman said happened that night was proven - how he never used racist language during the 911 call, how Trayvon attacked him (witnesses came forward to confirm it), and slammed his head on the concrete (the head wound), and the outright lies and coverups on the part of the media (NBC - come on down!). When the event first went down, area police gave Zimmerman back his gun because he had acted in accordance with Florida law - he was under attack, was in fear of his life and shot Obama's son. The cops don't give back weapons if you're wrong.
Once the race hustlers entered the picture and the media continued its distortion of events ("White Hispanic?"), and Trayvon's parents did their part (like having scrubbed Trayvon's thuggish FB page - which has since been cached for all to see who this SOB really was, and trademarking his name for profit), suddenly defending yourself from scum became a crime.
BTW - anyone ever wonder why pix of a 12 yr old Trayvon are always used in the media? Because if people knew what he really looked like at the time of his death, they'd be less likely to think Zimmerman was a big racist meanie. Trayvon was a 6'0 ft, 200lb grown MAN, not some cherubic 80lb tween.
