She's A Brat, Not Hero

From the New York Daily News: A 9-year-old girl took on the head of McDonald's Corp. during the fast-food chain's annual shareholders meeting Thursday.
"It would be nice if you stopped trying to trick kids into wanting to eat your food all the time," said fourth-grader Hannah Robertson, who spoke up during the gathering's question-and-answer session.
"Something that I don't think is fair is when big companies try to trick kids into eating food that isn't good for them by using toys and cartoon characters," the girl said, reading from prepared remarks.
"If parents haven't taught their kids about healthy eating, then the kids probably believe that junk food is good for them because it might taste good," she added.

This girl is nothing more than a spoiled brat looking for her 15 seconds of fame.
McDonalds is not trying to trick kids into buying their products, no more than any other company is doing so.
And who buys the kids their meals?  The kids?  Nope, it's the parents, 99% of the time.  And who brings the kids to McDonalds?  Parents.
And who puts these stupid ideas into this brat's mind?  More than likely, the parents.
McDonalds offers food that is good for you- salads, juices, chicken that is not fried, milk and more.  They also have food that is not good for you, if you eat the food everyday.
But the one thing the brat did learn is about not respecting your elders.  Even if she is right, and I don't believe she is, she disrespected an elder in public.
What's next?  Embarrassing a teacher in public?  Her parents?  A minister?  Obama?  Well, probably not him, as her parents probably brainwashed her about him.
It used to be, when we lived in caves, we respected people in public.  Obviously, this brat hasn't learned this lesson.

  1. I so agree with you. This is a set-up so the kid can be on television and invited to meet Michelle and O.
