From jsonline: A man claiming to have a bomb robbed the Tri City Bank inside a Pick 'n Save store in Wauwatosa on Thursday, police said.
The man walked into the store at 1717 N. Mayfair Road about 11 a.m., placed a box in a teller window, said it was a bomb and demanded money, according to a news release from Wauwatosa police.
After obtaining the money, he fled and the Milwaukee County bomb squad was called to the bank.
The box was determined not to be dangerous.

Seriously, it's silly enough that when people rob a place and they make pretend their fingers are guns when in a pocket, now all you have to do is put a box in front of a teller and claim a bomb and you get thousands of dollars?
Hell, why not just give people money who look scary when they walk into a bank?
Why not give money to the next gang banger look a like the next time they walk into the bank?
Just a bunch of stupid wimps.

I worked in a bank, Dan. You do not argue with a robber, you give him what he wants (and hopefully, slip in a dye-pack with the money). The money is insured. It's not worth the potential danger to argue, or fight. There are cameras and bill traps and other tricks of the trade to catch the guy later.
