A woman arrested Thursday morning in Iowa in connection with a newborn missing from a Rock County home is not a suspect in the case, according to a report from WEAU-TV (Channel 13) in Wausau.
The woman, the aunt of 5-day-old Kayden Powell, was arrested about an hour after Kayden was reported missing, according to the station.
Police say Brianna Marshall, 18, woke up to find Kayden missing and called 911 about 4:30 a.m. Thursday.
Kayden is African-American, 20 inches long, 6 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. The father of the baby is Bruce Powell, 23, of Beloit.
