One of the three protesters arrested Saturday after clogging a major artery leading to Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump’s rally said she was racially profiled and detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement because of her Latino surname.
Hundreds of protesters prevented or delayed many from accessing the Fountain Hills park where Trump made a final pitch ahead of Arizona’s presidential primary on Tuesday. Protesters with megaphones and drums chanting “Donald Trump, shut it down!” blocked westbound lanes of Shea Boulevard near State Route 87, and eastbound lanes near the entrance to Eagle Mountain.
Some motorists got out of their cars to confront protesters or attempted to drive into the crowd. Law enforcement warned protesters that they would be arrested and their vehicles towed away if they did not clear the road.
Of the group, Jacinta Gonzalez, 30; Michael Cassidy, 32; and Steffany Laughlin, 28, were each arrested on a misdemeanor charge of obstructing a public thoroughfare, said Det. Douglas Matteson, a spokesman for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. So, according to this moron, the cops went up to her, asked her name and then arrested based on her name.
Then why were the other 2 thugs arrested, because they don't have Spanish surnames.
And perhaps, the real reason why she was arrested was that minor detail of chaining herself to a car, disrupting traffic and putting people's lives in danger.  Too bad she wasn't charged with a felony.
And why would AZ Central even be stupid enough to buy into what she is saying and legitimizing her?
