From the Chicago Tribune: Four people were killed and at least nine others were wounded in shootings in Chicago Tuesday through early Wednesday, including a 14-year-old girl shot in the neck in Grand Crossing on the South Side, according to police.
Three of the shootings, two of them fatal, took place within three blocks in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
The first attack in the neighborhood occurred around 6:15 a.m. Tuesday when a 34-year-old man was shot in the chest. Alcaraz C. Reyes lived on the block where he was shot, the 5200 block of South Winchester Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office. He was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy determined that he died of multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
At 7 p.m., a 32-year-old man was shot on the same block. He got into a fight with someone who pulled out a gun and hit him in the arm and back. He went to Stroger Hospital and his condition was stabilized.Three blocks away and 5 1/2 hours later, a 19-year-old man was found in an alley with a fatal gunshot wound. But it's obvious that Obama could not care less about all the gu n violence in his own hometown.
Even when Obama is in Illinois to talk, curbing the violence in Chicago and other large cities is not what he wants to talk about.
Why?
And why isn't Hillary talking about the violence in Chicago and other large cities?
Are they afraid of insulting the goons and thugs that stay there?
